From Loki’s dialogue with Luffy in Chapter 1131, he appears to have been detained in his current position since six years ago.

Interestingly, Shanks also became a Yonko six years ago.
2. The Case of Someone Defeating a Yonko and Becoming One Has Happened Before
The situation where someone defeats a Yonko and then becomes their replacement has occurred before.
The case I’m referring to is primarily Monkey D. Luffy. He’s the one who took down Kaido and subsequently became a new Yonko.
There are exceptions, like Kid and Law who defeated Big Mom together but didn’t become Yonko. However, if the victory situation is more like how Luffy defeated Kaido (Luffy had help but ultimately took down Kaido himself), someone could potentially rise to become a new Yonko.
3. Loki’s Bounty
Loki’s bounty was revealed to be 2.6 billion.
It’s worth noting that this is already Yonko-level bounty.
The 2.6 figure is also referred to as a “special bounty from the World Government.”
That’s higher than Blackbeard’s bounty when he first became a Yonko (2,247,600,000) and higher than Shanks’ bounty before becoming a Yonko (1,040,000,000).
4. Loki Seems Strong Enough to Be a Yonko
From his claims about destroying the world, and the fact that many giants were needed just to ensure Loki couldn’t escape, he seems to be the strongest giant in One Piece currently.
This is no small feat. We’ve seen how powerful Dorry and Brogy were when they helped Luffy face the Gorosei.
If Loki is indeed stronger than them, then it’s conceivable that he’s at Yonko level in terms of strength.
5. Loki Seems to Dislike Shanks
Loki appears to dislike Shanks, calling him a coward (though he claimed it was just a joke after Luffy tried to attack him).
Additionally, Shanks apparently met Loki when he was in Elbaf.
Given the recent situation where Loki almost broke free, could Shanks be ensuring this figure remains restrained?
