“Kaiju No. 08” is an anime work based on the manga of the same name. Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto.
The story tells of Kafka Hibino, a young man who has a big dream of joining the Monster Defense Force.
Unfortunately, his dream was dashed because he exceeded the registration age limit.
Kafka then works as a janitor, cleaning up the remains of battles with monsters.
In his work, he often encounters these giant creatures.
One day, an unexpected event changes his life forever.
Kafka accidentally swallowed part of the monster’s body and it mutated. This mutation gives Kafka the ability to transform into a monster. However, instead of becoming a threat to humans, he decides to use his new powers to protect the people he loves and fight the evil Kaiju.
